Kath Williams (a member of the BAI) died during April of this year.
We have had a request from her daughter Karen (Goodwin) that her mother’s iconography things go are re-homed and put to good use. The text of Karen’s e-mail follows:
My late mother’s was a member of BAI. She died oin April 2024.
Mum was a textile iconographer, so she embroidered rather than painted. (Although she did that too.) We, her children, have a lot of silks and threads and printed images which she used to transfer Byzantine images to cloth.
Might anyone find a use for them ?. We would obviously like them to go to a good home rather than just throw them away.
